Tom Klauer has been involved in the Automotive Recycling business for the past 40 plus years. This includes both “Full Service” and “Self Service”. He started his professional career in a family owned and operated automotive recycling business in the early 1970’s with a small yard in East Palo Alto, CA, and has been an integral part of the industry since that time. Racing and driver development has been a very big passion of Mr. Klauer’s and that led to the formation of Naake-Klauer Motorsport, Auto Fab Specialties (restoration) and then on to the Garage Row Racing building at The Thermal Club and Sonoma Raceway. Mr. Klauer has been a licensed driver for the last 20 years in Nascar and is still a current driver in the Trans-Am racing circuit. For the past 20 years he has been involved in the restoration of vehicles with a substantial vehicle collection to date.
